Origin and character background
Released in 2010 by DreamWorks Animation, the film Dragons revolutionised animated cinema by telling the story of Harold, a frail, intellectual young Viking living on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. Son of Chief Stoick the Vast, Hiccup struggles to fit in until the day he clumsily captures the rarest and most mysterious of all dragons: a Night Fury.
