Discover Hatsune Miku transformed into a mermaid princess with this Desktop Fairy – Mermaid Princess Ver. figurine produced by FuRyu. Standing approximately 8.5 cm tall, this pre-painted figurine has a deliberately compact design, intended to fit easily on a desk, a shelf or in a display case. It marks the launch of the Desktop Fairy collection, dedicated to fairy-tale-inspired interpretations of Miku.

Miku is depicted sitting in a gentle, dreamy pose, her hands clasped beneath her chin. Her long turquoise locks frame her silhouette, whilst her legs have been replaced by a mermaid’s tail with blue-green scales and pearlescent sheen. Her pastel-coloured outfit is complemented by pearls, stars in her hair and a headpiece adorned with small fins, reinforcing the marine and fairy-tale aesthetic of this version.

The model is based on an original illustration by Eku Kamikura. Certain parts, notably the embellishments on the outfit and headdress, feature translucent elements to accentuate the aquatic feel of the whole design. The figurine is designed to be displayed as it is, without requiring a large plinth, in keeping with the compact concept of the Desktop Fairy range.
